$2,995 (+$500 for a Single Occupancy Room)

*Airport transfers are included and arranged for students who arrive and depart on the designated days. If students wish to extend their stay on either end of the trip, they are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the hotel.

Eligibility
This is an invitation-only tour. We are looking for the top athletes in collegiate women's soccer. If you would like to be considered for an invitation, please complete our Tour Application.
Capacity
This tour is capped at 20 student-athletes. Roster spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Accommodations
All overnight stays are in 3- to 4-star accommodations. Participants will share a room with 1-2 other travelers, however, every participant will have their own bed.
Payment
A $250 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Additional payments will be paid in a series of installments:

Tour Itinerary
June 2 - San Jose
Arrival in San Jose! Connect with Beyond Sports staff at the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) and transfer to the hotel. Free time to explore followed by a welcome dinner and trip orientation.
June 3 - San Jose
Morning practice session with your new teammates followed by a tour of downtown San Jose; visiting the National Church, National Theater and artisan's market for souvenirs. Match #1 in the evening.
June 4 - San Jose
Morning community service activity at local public school. Afternoon free time to continue exploring San Jose before Match #2 in the evening.
June 5 - La Fortuna
Morning hike at the La Paz Waterfall Gardens followed by a visit to a wildlife animal sanctuary. Afternoon transfer to the world renowned Arenal Volcano. Evening at Baldi Resort and Hot Springs enjoying an all-you-can-eat buffet and 33 natural mineral water hot springs.
June 6 - La Fortuna
Morning zip-lining excursion through the canopy of the rainforest at a nearby adventure park followed by a cultural workshop at a local coffee and cacao farm. Afternoon free time to explore the beautiful town of La Fortuna at the base of Arenal Volcano.
June 7 - Playa Blanca
Morning departure for Hotel Punta Leona on the Pacific Coast with a pit stop at Tarcoles River and the famous 'crocodile bridge' for pictures before arriving at the beach.
June 8 - Playa Blanca
Leisure day to enjoy the amenities at Hotel Punta Leona––white sand beaches, nature trails, sports facilities, pool, and more! Afternoon beach volleyball tournament with your teammates.
June 9 - Playa Blanca
Morning trip to the nearby beach town of Jaco for optional surf lessons and shopping. Afternoon free time to relax and continue exploring Punta Leona’s amenities.
June 10 - San Jose
Morning return to San Jose followed by Match #3 in the afternoon. Farewell dinner in the evening.
June 11 - Departure Day
Travel day! Depart from the San Jose (SJO) airport with friendships and memories to last a lifetime!
The final itinerary may change slightly based on the confirmed game schedule. We will do our best to follow this exact itinerary.

Who can join the tour as a fan?
Family members, friends, and supporters of our college-level athletes are welcome to join as fans! If you want to share in the experience, cheer from the sidelines, and travel with the team, you can register to experience every part of the journey alongside your athlete.
What are the fans included in?
As a registered fan, you’ll participate in all aspects of the tour alongside your athlete. This includes attending games, joining group activities, exploring the local culture, and enjoying free time together. By joining us, you’ll share the full experience, from team gatherings to cultural excursions.
What are the benefits of registering as a fan, as opposed to planning my own travel?
Registering as a fan takes the hassle out of travel. As a registered fan, all logistics are covered, including transportation, accommodations, and planned excursions. You won’t have to worry about separate bookings or missing out on team activities. Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet and connect with other fans who share your passion, creating a fun, supportive community along the way!

Accept Your Invitation
If you received an invitation from your coach, you can accept your invite and begin registration. If you did not receive an invite, but you are interested in joining the tour, please complete our tour application.

Register & Deposit
When you are ready to commit to the tour, submit your $250 deposit to reserve your spot. The full cost of the tour is not due immediately. Payment deadlines are outlined above and in registration.

Begin Travel Prep
Once registered, your tour coordinator will connect with you to share pre-departure information. We encourage all students who do not have a valid passport to apply for a passport as soon as possible!

How was I selected for this tour?
Tour invite lists are a competitive selection process. We select conference statistical leaders, all-conference honorees, and coach recommendations.
Who will be my tour coach?
Beyond Sports is proud of our incredible network of college coaches that join our international trips as tour coaches! All tour coaches are current college coaches. We announce our tour coaches in the Spring.
How will I travel to Costa Rica?
Tour participants are responsible for arranging their own air travel to and from Costa Rica. If you’re interested in coordinating your travel plans with other tour students, please contact our staff to be connected with your tour teammates.
What do the international travel days look like?
Arrival Day - Tour participants should aim to arrive at the San Jose (SJO) airport by the afternoon of June 2nd. Our tour staff will greet you upon arrival and help transfer you to the hotel. We encourage you to plan accordingly so you arrive on time and can attend your team practice and orientation.
Departure Day - Students will be transferred to the San Jose (SJO) airport on the morning of June 11th.

Can a family member or teammate travel with me?
