Tour Details
Per Person Cost
$4,495 (+$600 for a Single Occupancy Room, optional)

Nine nights lodging accommodations (6 nights in Tokyo and 3 nights in Kyoto)

*Airport transfers are included and arranged for students who arrive and depart on the designated days. If students wish to extend their stay on either end of the trip, they are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the hotel.

Eligibility
This is an invitation-only tour. We are looking for the top athletes in collegiate Division I softball. If you would like to be considered for an invitation, please complete our Tour Application.
Capacity
This tour is capped at 32 student-athletes. Roster spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Accommodations
All overnight stays are in 3- to 4-star accommodations. Participants will share a room with 1-2 other travelers, however, every participant will have their own bed.
**Group Flight Add-On (Optional)
Travelers can choose to arrange their own travel to Japan or join our group flight from Newark, NJ (EWR) for an additional fee of +$2050/traveler. Inquire with our team for more group flight details.
Payment
A $250 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Additional payments will be paid in a series of installments:

Tour Itinerary
June 23 - Travel Day
Travel day! Because of time zone differences, if you are traveling from the US, you will need to depart on June 23rd to arrive to Japan on June 24th.
June 24 - Tokyo
Arrive in Tokyo (HND) and kick off the tour with a team practice to prepare for the exhibition games. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a traditional izakaya, where you’ll experience authentic Japanese cuisine and begin building connections with your teammates.
June 25 - Tokyo
Start your day with a visit to the serene Meiji Shrine and a stroll through lush Yoyogi Park. After lunch at Tsukiji Market, dive into Tokyo's trendy Harajuku district before your second team practice session. End the day with dinner and free time.
June 26 - Tokyo
Start the morning with a visit to the well-known Shibuya Scramble Crossing, then get a glimpse into Japanese culture with a visit to a real training session held by sumo wrestlers. In the evening, compete in your first game against a local team.
June 27 - Tokyo
In the morning, explore the iconic Senso-ji Temple and the vibrant Nakamise Street––a perfect place to shop for souvenirs. Brief free time in the afternoon before competing in your second exhibition game in the evening.
June 28 - Tokyo
Day trip to Nikko, a town filled with natural beauty and rich history. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Toshogu Shrine and Rinnoji Temple, and admire the breathtaking Kegon-no-Taki Waterfall and Lake Chuzenji. After a full day of exploration, return to Tokyo for the night.
June 29 - Tokyo
In the morning, dive into the mesmerizing world of teamLab Borderless, an immersive and interactive art museum that promises countless photo-worthy moments! In the afternoon, play your final exhibition game, followed by a softball clinic for local youth–– sharing your skills and continuing to grow the game.
June 30 - Kyoto
Board a bullet train to Kyoto, taking the scenic route between cities. End the day with dinner in Pontocho Alley––a narrow street along the Kamogawa River known for its rich culture and traditional restaurants, bars and tea houses.
July 1 - Kyoto
Start the day with a visit to the breathtaking Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) and the tranquil Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Spend your afternoon exploring the Gion District and sampling local delicacies at Nishiki Market before ending the day with an evening sushi-making class.
July 2 - Kyoto
Day trip to Osaka. Discover Osaka’s rich history with a tour of the iconic Osaka Castle and the ancient Shitennoji Temple. Wrap up the day by grabbing a farewell dinner in the iconic Dontonbori district––experience why Osaka is considered one of the best food destinations in Japan! After dinner, return back to your hotel in Kyoto to prepare for departure day.
July 3 - Departure Day
Early morning transfer back to Tokyo before afternoon departures from the Tokyo-Haneda Airport (HND).
The final itinerary may change slightly based on the confirmed game schedule. We will do our best to follow this exact itinerary.

Who can join the tour as a fan?
Family members, friends, and supporters of our college-level athletes are welcome to join as fans! If you want to share in the experience, cheer from the sidelines, and travel with the team, you can register to experience every part of the journey alongside your athlete.
What are the fans included in?
As a registered fan, you’ll participate in all aspects of the tour alongside your athlete. This includes attending games, joining group activities, exploring the local culture, and enjoying free time together. By joining us, you’ll share the full experience, from team gatherings to cultural excursions.
What are the benefits of registering as a fan, as opposed to planning my own travel?
Registering as a fan takes the hassle out of travel. As a registered fan, all logistics are covered, including transportation, accommodations, and planned excursions. You won’t have to worry about separate bookings or missing out on team activities. Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet and connect with other fans who share your passion, creating a fun, supportive community along the way!

Accept Your Invitation
If you received an invitation from your coach, you can accept your invite and begin registration. If you did not receive an invite, but are interested in joining the tour, please complete our tour application.

Register & Deposit
When you are ready to commit to the tour, submit your $250 deposit to reserve your spot. The full cost of the tour is not due immediately. Payment deadlines are outlined above and in registration.
3.
Begin Travel Prep
Once registered, your tour coordinator will connect with you to share pre-departure information. We encourage all students who do not have a valid passport to apply for a passport as soon as possible!
